Avignon was a beautiful little city we stayed at for one night in between Switzerland and Barcelona. It used to be the home of the Popes in the 15th century. We stayed at a campsite just outside of the city walls (yes the city has walls). It was a beautiful day there, we explored the city and markets then had a picnic along the river.
